Tina set about breathing new life into this substantial post war detached home, working with the Client to transform a tired and faded house into today’s elegant home.
Featuring a wide sweeping bay window, the dining room presented a wonderful opportunity for the Client to dine and relax “with” the garden. Adding lightness to the rooms, with subtle warm tones on the walls and floor, enhanced the sense of space and now welcomes into the living space the view of the extensive gardens that surround the house.
Starting with the purchase of a gorgeous floor rug, providing a palette of colour and pattern, the room was transformed with creams, blues and silver. The Clients’ collection of books is now together in bespoke library cabinets either side of a hand-carved stone fire surround, all designed and commissioned by Tina.
